About Me : I graduated with 650 hours of training from the Body Therapy Institute located in Siler City North Carolina. I am certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and am a member of the Association of Bodywork and Massage Practitioners. I have been a Certified Massage Therapist in the State of Virginia since June of 2007.
The reason I became a massage therapist was to assist people with finding a balance in their life and aiding them with their own healing. I believe that everyone has an innate ability to keep themselves healthy, and I want to be a part of that process, and to help people find that ability within themselves. I believe that stress plays a major part in many illnesses and tensions within the body. Massage and Bodywork treatments have been scientifically shown to help the body and mind deal with daily stress and maintain optimal health.
