My journey in the beauty industry started 40 years ago.  I was very fortunate to have parents that supported me in wanting to become a hairdresser plus I had a great mentor by the name of Polly Farmer.  I was a salon junkie from the beginning-- hanging out at the salon whenever I could.  It was so exciting to sweep up hair or seperate rollers.  I loved to watch the different techniques that each stylist used.  I feel very blessed to have started my journey at the ripe old age of 13.  My mom purchased salon equipment and had it installed in the basement of our house.  I am so thankful for my mom, sister and employees of my mom’s flower shop that let me cut, color or perm their hair. I feel very fortunate to have come into the beauty industry at the time of roller sets and “dressing” hair was fading out on the heels of precision cuts and blow drys.  My career has included being an Brenda O’Reilly Made with Xara About © imagesbyb.com
