Exfoliation is the removal of the oldest dead skin cells that cling to the skin's outermost surface. Exfoliation leaves the skin smoother and fresher looking and promotes the regeneration of your skin.

As we age the process of cell turnover slows down. Cells start to pile up unevenly on the skin's surface, giving it a dry, rough, dull appearance. Exfoliation is beneficial because it removes those cells that are clinging on, revealing the fresher, younger skin cells below.

There are two types of exfoliations, mechanical and chemical.  Mechanical exfoliation uses organic abrasives such as sugar, salt, or corn meal to physically rub away dead skin cells.  A dry brush can also be used to brush away more surface skin cells.  Chemical exfoliation utilizes organic acids such as Enzymes, alphahydroxy acids, or betahydroxy acids to  loosen the glue-like substance that holds the cells together, allowing them to slough away.

Enzymatic Sea Salt Scrub -

Chocolate Body Polish –
This polish utilizes the fine granules of cocoa beans to gently remove dry, dull skin while improving circulation, and awakening the senses.  Your choice of carrier oils.

Milk and Honey Sugar Scrub –
Combine natural white and brown sugar, natural firming hydrates, protectors and cleansers of milk protein, honey, clover, and royal jelly.  All in a replenishing blend of natural oils to stimulate circulation and exfoliate revealing a healthy glow.
