Body Waxing is a personal preference.  Like eyebrow waxing, the area is cleansed, prepped according to the type of wax.  After wax is removed, an after-wax oil is applied to calm the skin. Afer care for body waxing:  wear white loose clothing for the first 36 hours.  Avoid hot showers or baths because the heat will irritate the skin.  The area waxed needs exfoliation with a nylon body scrub ber or a body exfoliation product.  Ingrown hairs can be avoided by proper exfoliation and/or the use of a proeduct that helps to smooth and calm skin after waxing or shaving.  I recommend Folisan by Deplieve.
